
Pouchmaker / Inserter / Filler
The Hart Design filling and packaging equipment is designed to fill and
package both process cheese and cream cheese. This line has the capacity
of filling and packaging 8 oz. to 5 lb. volumes. Various thruputs can be
attained.
The 8-oz. cream cheese package would be dual lane, single index to
obtain 100 packages per minute. To obtain 200 packages per minute, the 8
oz. would be dual lane, double index.
The 5# product, because of its large carton and pouch dimensions can
only be single lane, double index for a throughput of 100 packages per
minute.
The filling line cycles at 50 packages per minute. It can be one lane or two, and can
double index for increased throughputs. A single lane, double index, dual
pouchmaker on a common frame would achieve 100 packages per minute.
A separate nozzle is used for each type of cheese because of flow
consistencies.
