2. HART AUTOMATIC LIDDING MACHINE
Fully automatic, intermittent motion lid former and sealer. Designed to place, form, and seal lids around cartons of process cheese.
Operation:
Lids are manually placed in magazine
Sensors determine presence of cartons
Lid feeder transfers lid from magazine
Film "ears" are tucked into carton
Elevator lifts carton
Carton and lid are pushed through forming section
Glue is applied
Overhead indexes to fold glued flaps
Compression section maintains pressure during subsequent indexes
Lidded carton exits the machine

Machine is designed to handle a range of sizes from 2 lb. to 5 lb.
(2.75" by 8" to 3.625" by 11") of process cheese
Speed to 60 packages per minute.
