Cutoff Unit
The HART Cutoff Unit is designed to cut a continuous moving cheese
ribbon or other similar products. The cutoff accurately cuts any length
from 75 mm to 900 mm. The linear servo system ensures accurate cuts every
stroke. A simple keypad entry is all that is necessary to change lengths
and speed while in operation.
Cheese
Stacker
The Hart Design Cheese Stacker receives loaves of cheese ribbons from
the Hart Design Cutoff Unit and stacks them on top of each other. We have
a Two Stage Stacker that stacks one loaf on top of another loaf and a
Three Stage Stacker that will combine three stacks. By doing this, our Two
Stage Stacker can take the 10 ribbons of cheese coming off a casting line
and create a 20- slice horizontal loaf. The Three Stage Stacker would take
those same 10 ribbons and create a 30-slice horizontal loaf. The stacked
loaf is then conveyed to a wrapper's Auto Infeed.
Timing of both the upper and lower stacks is adjustable during
operation in order to achieve proper loaf alignment. Speed of the Two
Stage Stacker is adjustable to a maximum output capacity of 30 loaves
per minute. The maximum output of the Three Stage Stacker is 20 loaves per
minute.
3x12 Wrapping Machine
Three pound and five pound stacked ribbon loaves are conveyed to the
Auto Feeder and transferred individually to the conveyor flights of the
3x12 Wrapping Machine. As each loaf reaches the lift position it is cut
into shorter lengths by a wire "Harp" before being wrapped and
sealed.
As the loaf is advanced by the overhead paddle system, the film folds
over the product and overlaps by 1/2". The overlapped film area is
then sealed. Progressive folders create a diamond fold at each end. In the
last station, heated plates heat seal the end diamond folds of the package.
The package is then discharged for case packing.
